About Precision Cardiac Imaging

A physician-owned and operated group that reads cardiac PET and CT remotely for hospitals across the country.

Cardiac PET and CT take specialized training to read well, and many hospitals don't have a cardiologist on staff with that expertise. We read those studies remotely, wherever your hospital is.

Our physicians are board certified in PET, CT, nuclear cardiology, MRI, general cardiology, and internal medicine, and trained at Washington University in St. Louis. A radiologist on staff overreads the non-cardiac portions of every scan, so you get one complete report.

Hospitals call us when they're overloaded, when they're short a reader, or when they want someone to double-check their team's work. Final reports come back within 48 hours, and 24-hour coverage is available.

Leadership

Brendan Caprio, MD, FACC

He has more than six years of direct patient care in cardiology and imaging.

In his two years as nuclear director, he quadrupled St. Luke's PET program and trained numerous colleagues to read PET. He also leads a comprehensive review of all current readers at St. Luke's to make sure reports are accurate and timely, and that every practitioner reads consistently.
